Scott Shenton (NMLS #1039731) specializes in all forms of residential lending in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC, but will always have a soft spot for his hometown of New Market Maryland.
Scott has a long history in the real estate and banking industries. After first working as a real estate agent, Scott began his financial career working with several large credit unions working to originate consumer and auto loans, consumer lines of credit, small business loans, 2nd trusts and of course residential mortgages. Currently, Scott works at Apex Home Loans as Certified Mortgage Planner and Mortgage Banker.
Due to his varied experience with several types of lending, Scott has a unique understanding of how to help borrowers meet and exceed their financial goals and prides himself on being able to help people make the most of their finances. Scott graduated from the University of Maryland and when not helping people finance their real estate and reach their long-term financial goals, he’s also a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, an avid fly fisherman and goes surfing with his daughter every chance he gets. He now lives in beautiful New Market Maryland and loves every minute of it!
